About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Driver to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Heavy Duty Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting workers, materials, and equipment to and from various work sites while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport workers, materials, and equipment to designated locations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal condition and safety
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, including proper use of seat belts and observing speed limits
• Oversee and manage a team of workers during transportation and at work sites
• Maintain accurate daily logs of activities, progress reports, and any incidents or delays
• Ensure all passengers follow safety protocols during transit
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment when necessary
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and road situations to ensure safe transportation

What do we need from you

• Valid commercial driver’s license
• Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles
• In-depth knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations, particularly in Dubai and the UAE
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting
• Proven ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles in various conditions
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to read maps and plan efficient routes
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to professionalism
