We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and experienced Company Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting company staff, clients, and materials to various destinations while ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained and operated in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and a professional attitude that reflects the company’s values and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, goods, or materials.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
• Plan routes efficiently to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior).
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents to management immediately.
• Ensure proper loading and securing of cargo, if applicable.
• Keep accurate records, such as mileage logs, fuel usage, and delivery receipts.
• Assist in loading and unloading, depending on job requirements.
• Follow company policies on vehicle usage and safety guidelines.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or the public.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s licence for the appropriate vehicle category (e.g., light vehicle, heavy vehicle, commercial licence).
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Proven driving experience, usually 2–5 years depending on company requirements.
• Good knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and road safety regulations.
• Physical fitness, especially if loading/unloading is required.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, such as checking oil, tires, and fluid levels.
• Ability to read maps and follow GPS or delivery instructions.
• Good communication skills, polite and professional behaviour.
• Punctuality and reliability very important for company operations.
