Full job description
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documentation in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and UAE construction standards. The role supports project teams by ensuring accurate, timely, and secure handling of technical and non-technical documents throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control, register, distribute, and track project documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, correspondence).
- Maintain document registers, version control, and filing systems.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely submission and distribution of approved documents.
- Manage EDMS (Aconex/Procore/SharePoint).
- Support audits, handover, and project close-out documentation.
Requirements:
- 3–7 years UAE experience in construction/contracting.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation workflows.
- Experience with main contractors preferred.
- Proficient in EDMS and MS Office.
- Fluent in English.
