Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a project document control system in line with company policies and client requirements.
  • Receive, check, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents (drawings, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, contracts, etc.).
  • Ensure proper document coding, formatting, and version control.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for all project documentation.
  • Track and monitor the status of submittals, approvals, and outstanding documents.
  • Prepare transmittals and ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support project teams in retrieving and updating documents quickly and accurately.
  • Ensure confidentiality and controlled access to sensitive documents.
  • Regularly update document control logs, registers, and reports for management.
  • Assist in audits and handover documentation at project completion.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a Document Controller in construction/fit-out/engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
