Job Description
- Prepare and present pastries, desserts, and bakery items according to recipes and standards.
- Support daily pastry operations and assist in menu development.
- Decorate and plate desserts with precision and creativity.
- Monitor ingredient freshness, portion control, and minimize waste.
- Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections and assist in training junior staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen (hotel, restaurant, or bakery).
- Solid knowledge of pastry techniques, dessert plating, and chocolate or sugar work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
