Overview:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting food products and goods safely and efficiently to customers, retail locations, and event sites. This role requires punctuality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to handling items with care and maintaining product quality during transit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to customers or outlets on time and in perfect condition.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles following safety procedures.
• Verify delivery contents and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and adapt to schedule changes as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any delays, vehicle issues, or delivery complications to the supervisor.
• Ensure all items are handled with care, especially delicate or temperature-sensitive products (e.g., cakes, pastries, chilled/frozen items).
• Comply with all traffic laws and company delivery procedures.
• Maintain delivery records, invoices, and logs accurately.

Skills & Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (light vehicle or as required by local regulations).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver (preferably in food or bakery delivery).
• Good knowledge of routes, GPS navigation, and time management.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move delivery items safely.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene is a plus.
