Key Responsibilities1. Patient Data Management
- Enter patient demographics, visit details, and clinical information into EMR systems.
- Update, review, and verify accuracy of all patient records.
- Ensure medical reports, prescriptions, assessments, and attachments are correctly uploaded.
- Maintain organized digital files for quick retrieval.
2. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Ensure all scanned files, forms, and supporting documents are properly labeled and stored.
- Cross-check information for completeness before submitting or forwarding to relevant departments.
- Track missing documents and coordinate with reception/clinicians to complete files.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
3. Coordination & Support
- Work closely with clinicians, therapists, and admin staff to ensure timely updating of records.
- Follow up internally on missing patient data or unsigned documents.
- Assist with patient data audits and reports as required.
- Support administrative tasks related to patient file management.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Excellent typing speed & accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with medical terminology (advantageous).
- Experience using EMR systems or clinic software (preferred).
- Good communication & coordination skills.
- Basic MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or relevant certification (Diploma in Healthcare Administration is a plus).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in data entry (preferably in a medical/clinical setting).
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements.
Work Environment
- Clinic-based role requiring accuracy and consistency.
- May need to support multiple clinicians across departments.
- Professional, fast-paced medical environment.
