Full job description
We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Commis Chef / Kitchen Helper to join our crew!
- Responsible for completing the daily checklist regarding mis-en-place and food storage.
- Consistent production of high-quality food, and presentation as directed by the Head chef.
- Work to the specifications received by the Head Chef regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index.
- Helping cooks prepare for meals by washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients.
- Maintain quality & consistency with effective utilization of food items.
- Assist in food trial for menu changes.
- Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes and kitchen utensils.
Qualifications
- You have the capacity to multi task, cope well under pressure
- Knowledge of seafood is an advantage
- At least 3 years experience working on a similar role
- Immediate joiners preferred
