Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Food & Beverage – Hakkasan Team, the Cocktail Waitress is responsible for ensuring that guests are served food and beverage according to the standards of Hakkasan, and maximizing the revenue and profit. The Cocktail Waitress reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager.

As a Cocktail Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Set up stations and tables in accordance with Hakkasan and Emirates Palace standards.
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, following the established service standards.
  • Engage and communicate with guests in a courteous and professional manner, adhering to Hakkasan guidelines.
  • Present menus, offer recommendations, and accurately take guest orders.
  • Assist guests with allergy information and special dietary requirements, ensuring compliance with the service sequence.
  • Actively apply upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
  • Maintain, clear, and reset tables efficiently while supporting fellow food and beverage attendants.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Handle billing and payment procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Be present and attentive in the restaurant during all service hours.
  • Keep the Manager informed of any guest feedback, comments, or complaints.
  • Provide proactive support to colleagues to maintain the highest level of guest service.
  • Attend all briefings, communication meetings, and training sessions as required by the Restaurant Manager, Training Manager, or Food & Beverage Department.
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented uniform and uphold excellent personal grooming and hygiene standards in line with Emirates Palace and Hakkasan policies.

As Cocktail Waitress, we expect from you:

  • Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is required, resort experience is a plus
  • Strong and Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering personalized guest service
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages is an advantage
