Job Summary

We are urgently hiring an experienced CNC Milling Operator to set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision metal parts. The role involves machine setup, program loading, machining, inspection, and basic troubleshooting to meet production and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical, horizontal, and multi-axis milling machines
• Load and run CNC programs using DNC / machine controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and setup sheets
• Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces
• Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, depth, coolant) as required
• Perform test runs and monitor machining operations
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges
• Ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance
• Separate scrap and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Coordinate with programmers and supervisors when required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Milling Operator
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and inspection
• Ability to read complex drawings and specifications
• Experience with precision measurement instruments
• Immediate availability preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• NTTF – Precision Machinist / Tool & Die Making
• AutoCAD knowledge (advantage)
