Job Description: Housekeeping/Cleaning

The person should be well-versed in English communication. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

– Greet guests upon arrival, provide a personalized and warm welcome, and assist with the check-in process.

– Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property’s services, facilities, and amenities in order to provide accurate information

– Clean and tidy guest rooms/beds, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.

– Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.

– Replace linens and towels according to hostel standards.

– Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or services.

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas and equipment.

– Report any maintenance issues or damage in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department.

– Adhere to hostel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
