Job Summary

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall tidiness of the assigned premises to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, restrooms, and pantry areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures
  • Refill washroom and pantry supplies such as soap, tissue, and paper towels
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors as required
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
  • Support special cleaning tasks during events, inspections, or deep-cleaning schedules

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeping staff preferred
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if required
