  • Physical ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Attention to detail: A meticulous and detail-oriented approach is crucial for a healthcare setting.
  • Reliability: Must be dependable and able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: A willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is often required.
  • Compliance: Must be able to follow specific health and safety protocols, including infection control measures and universal precautions.
  • Sanitization: Disinfect all high-touch surfaces like door handles, light switches, and countertops to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Restroom maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, and restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Waste disposal: Empty trash cans and dispose of general and potentially hazardous waste according to protocol.
  • Restocking: Ensure designated supply areas are stocked and organized.
  • Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, needed repairs, or safety hazards to a supervisor immediately.
