IQ Kids Nursery is looking for a Cleaner to join our supportive team.

Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all nursery areas, supporting the cook with kitchen cleanliness, and contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all nursery areas, including classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, staff rooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Assist the cook with cleaning tasks in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Refill hygiene supplies regularly (e.g., soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, paper towels).
• Safely collect and dispose of waste in accordance with health standards.
• Follow and complete daily cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Carry out deep cleaning during weekends, holidays, or as scheduled.
• Support in preparing and cleaning up after nursery events or activities.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely; ensure all materials are securely stored out of children’s reach.
• Promptly report any hazards, maintenance issues, or damage to the Nursery Manager.
• Maintain a professional and child-friendly presence while working cooperatively with nursery staff.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical safety
• Experience in a nursery, school, or childcare setting (preferred)
• Completion of basic hygiene and safety training (preferred)
