Job Purpose:

To maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment by performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas are kept in optimal condition to support efficient workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain workshop floors, workstations, and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust, debris, and oil spills from all work areas.
• Dispose of waste, scrap materials, and used parts in designated bins following safety and environmental guidelines.
• Clean washrooms, staff rest areas, and customer waiting areas (if applicable).
• Assist in organizing tools, equipment, and materials to ensure tidy workspaces.
• Clean exterior workshop areas, including entrance, parking, and surrounding premises.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance needs, hazards, or damages to the Workshop Supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments when needed.
• Support workshop staff with basic housekeeping tasks during peak workload.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in an automotive workshop or industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently.
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding cleaning tasks.
• Good attention to detail and a responsible work attitude.
