Full job description

The Document Controller will manage project documentation and ensure proper filing, version control, and communication across teams. This role is vital in maintaining compliance and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a structured document filing system for drawings, approvals, and site logs.
  • Control document numbering, revisions, and distribution.
  • Coordinate submission and tracking of IRs, RFIs, MARs, and other technical documents.
  • Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to collect and record approvals.
  • Support QA/QC and site teams with retrieval of latest approved documents.
  • Ensure confidentiality, backups, and compliance with audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in administration or related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in document control within civil construction projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Aconex, or similar DMS.
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills.
