Job Overview

As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards.

Duties

  • Prepare food according to the customer orders.
  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
  • Develop and update menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute catering events
  • Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures

Skills

  • Knowledge in preparation of all kind of foods.
  • Proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen management
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Experience in banquet or catering operations
  • Ability to maintain inventory control and manage food costs efficiently
  • Prior experience in a cook or chef role within the Restaurant industry.
