Full job description

• Transaction Management: Use Point of Sale (POS) systems to scan items, ensure pricing accuracy, and process various payments like cash, credit/debit, and mobile wallets.
• Cash Handling & Reconciliation: Count your cash drawer at the start of a shift and balance it at the end to ensure all receipts match the physical cash on hand.
• Guest Interaction: Greet every customer warmly upon entry and exit. You are responsible for answering questions about product locations, pricing, or ongoing store promotions.
• Complaint Resolution: Handle customer issues, such as returns and exchanges, with empathy and professionalism. If a problem is complex, you may escalate it to a manager.
• Upselling & Cross-selling: Proactively recommend related products, introduce new items, or encourage customers to join loyalty programs.
• Maintain Workspace: Keep the checkout area clean, sanitized, and fully stocked with essentials like bags, receipt paper, and impulse-buy merchandise.
