Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Transaction Handling
- Operate the cash register/POS system efficiently and accurately.
- Process cash, card, or digital payments, issue receipts, and ensure correct change.
- Handle refunds, exchanges, or voids following company policy.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
2. Customer Service
- In any situation, Greet customers warmly with a smile and provide assistance during checkout.
- Handle inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable counter area.
- Promote ongoing promotions or new products to customers when appropriate.
3. Financial Accountability
- Ensure all transactions are recorded properly and funds are secure.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or overages immediately to the branch supervisor or manager.
- Assist with daily sales reports and deposit preparation.
4. Store/Branch Support
- Support branch operations when not serving customers (e.g., packing, restocking, cleaning).
- Coordinate with kitchen or sales staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain compliance with company policies and cash handling procedures.
QualificationsEducation:
- Senior High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, accounting, or related field (preferred but not required).
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
Skills:
- Proficiency in English
- Basic math and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer use.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Trustworthy, responsible, and detail-oriented.
