Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they approached the restaurant counter with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring clarity and correctness.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and front counter area.
  • Answer customer questions about the menu, promotions, and policies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Report any discrepancies, complaints, or issues to the manager promptly.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Must be able to speak Arabic or English.
  • Honest, responsible, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle busy shifts.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
