Key Responsibilities Operations & Service Delivery

  • Supervise day-to-day café operations to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and excellent service at all times
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures and ensure operational standards are met
  • Monitor quality of food, beverages, and presentation in line with brand expectations

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and support baristas and service staff during shifts
  • Assist in training new team members on service standards, product knowledge, and SOPs
  • Manage staff schedules, shift coverage, and team performance during operating hours
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment

Customer Experience

  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, or service recovery in a calm and professional manner
  • Build strong relationships with regular customers and maintain a welcoming café atmosphere
  • Ensure consistency in service and uphold hospitality excellence

Stock & Inventory Support

  • Support the Café Manager with stock control, ordering, and inventory checks
  • Ensure proper storage of supplies and minimize waste where possible
  • Monitor product availability throughout service

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
  • Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi municipality regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular checks of front-of-house areas, equipment, and service stations

Sales & Performance

  • Support daily sales targets and promotional activities
  • Encourage upselling and product recommendations by staff
  • Assist in monitoring cash handling procedures and POS accuracy

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Café Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or similar hospitality role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for customer service and creating positive guest experiences
  • Knowledge of café operations, coffee service, and hospitality standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the UAE hospitality sector
  • Barista training or strong coffee knowledge
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting
