Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of café-style dishes, including sandwiches, pizzas, pasta, burgers, and Indian street food bites.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation align with the café’s standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, ingredient stocking, and maintaining hygiene.
  • Follow food safety regulations to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of ingredients.
  • Innovate and introduce new menu items to enhance the café’s offerings.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain consistency in portion sizes, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
  • Collaborate with the management team to optimize kitchen efficiency and reduce wastage.

As an All-Rounder:

  • Responsible for overall café maintenance, including cleaning the workspace, dining area, and kitchen.
  • Support front-end operations if needed, such as serving food or handling customer requests.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the café.
  • Help with basic food preparation when required.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a chef in the culinary industry is required.
  • Experience in preparing café-style and street food dishes.
  • Knowledge of Indian street food flavors and global fast-food trends.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
