Bartender

Job Description:

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to hotel guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This role includes preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, handling guest payments, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hotel’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
  • Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders promptly
  • Engage with guests to provide recommendations and enhance their overall experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, glassware, and equipment
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems accurately
  • Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory control
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Open and close the bar according to hotel procedures

Desired Skill & Expertise:

  • Previous bartending experience preferred, ideally in a hotel or upscale hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
