Job Role: Barista
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to company standards
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, seating areas, and restrooms
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately using the POS system
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory checks as needed
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
- Handle customer questions or complaints politely and professionally
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Open or close the café as scheduled, following set procedures
Preferred Skills & Qualities (optional to include):
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
- Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork
- Previous barista or customer service experience (preferred but not always required)
