Barista/Cashier

Job Role: Barista

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to company standards
  • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, seating areas, and restrooms
  • Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately using the POS system
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory checks as needed
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
  • Handle customer questions or complaints politely and professionally
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Open or close the café as scheduled, following set procedures

Preferred Skills & Qualities (optional to include):

  • Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
  • Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork
  • Previous barista or customer service experience (preferred but not always required)
