Position Objective:

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, team leadership, and achieving sales targets. This role focuses on developing management skills while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Assist Store Manager in supervising daily operations and staff performance
  • Support training and development of Sales Associates
  • Foster positive work environment and maintain team morale

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Drive sales targets through team motivation and effective strategies
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards
  • Handle customer complaints and service issues
  • Support promotional activities and loyalty programs

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily store operations and procedures
  • Assist in stock management, ordering, and inventory control
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards
  • Monitor loss prevention and security protocols
  • Prepare reports and assist with administrative tasks

Qualification

  • The ideal Sales Associate should have a minimum diploma or degree qualification
  • 2-4 years retail management experience
  • Previous experience with international retail brands preferred

Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficiency and POS system experience
  • Goal-oriented mindset with drive to achieve targets
  • Adaptability in fast-paced retail environment
  • Cultural sensitivity for Dubai’s diverse customer base

  • Flexibility for extended hours during peak periods
  • Willingness to relocate within UAE if required
