Al Maha Catering is seeking an organized and reliable Assistant Storekeeper to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing inventory, ensuring proper storage, and supporting the storekeeper in day-to-day operations. This position demands attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Storekeeper in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with quality and quantity standards.
  • Properly organize and store items, ensuring optimal space utilization and accessibility.
  • Support in the issuance and dispatch of goods to relevant departments as per requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area at all times.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring proper documentation of all store activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the catering or food service industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with inventory management software or spreadsheets.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing stock items.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: 2,000 AED per month.
  • Accommodation, transportation, and meals provided by the company.
  • Visa and medical insurance included.
  • Work schedule: 10 hours daily (6 days a week) with 1 weekly day off.
