What you will do
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including new hire paperwork and orientation.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and help resolve issues that arise.
- Assist with processing payroll and managing timekeeping records for employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, and assist in maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain and update employee files, databases, and other People & Culture related records.
- Support the P&C team with various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, process improvements, and event planning.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and regular review of policies to ensure compliance with regulations, as well as alignment with the Hotel’s objectives.
- Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and renewal of employment contracts, ensuring they are accurate.
- Support the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements as required.
- Schedule and coordinate employee meetings, ensuring relevant department representatives are invited and necessary resources are available.
- Ensure meeting minutes are recorded, and any action items or decisions are documented for follow-up.
What you bring
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in 5-star luxury hotels and resort in the same capacity or similar.
- Excellent command of the English language, additional languages can be an advantage
- Relevant diploma or certification in Human Resources Management.
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of various P&C functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to assess P&C-related data.
