We are currently seeking a dynamic and guest-focused Assistant Front Office Manager to support front office operations and work closely with the Hotel Manager in driving service excellence, team performance, and resident satisfaction.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

  • Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing all Front Office operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning of Reception, Concierge, Guest Services, Bell Desk, and Residential Services.
  • Ensure the highest level of guest and resident satisfaction through proactive engagement, prompt issue resolution, and personalized service delivery.
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate the Front Office team to consistently meet and exceed brand service standards.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for guest concerns, complaints, and special requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Monitor arrival and departure processes, VIP movements, long-stay residents, and special service requirements.
  • Ensure accurate handling of room allocations, billing, cash handling, and night audit coordination.
  • Maintain close coordination with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Sales to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Support in preparing duty rosters, managing attendance, leave planning, and manpower optimization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to InterContinental brand standards, SOPs, safety, and security procedures.
  • Assist in training, onboarding, and performance management of Front Office colleagues.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and operational updates as required by the Hotel Manager.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Front Office experience in a luxury hotel or serviced residences environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Prior experience with long-stay or residential operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with a calm and professional approach.
  • Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS systems.
  • High level of professionalism, grooming, and service mindset.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
