Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive an ambulance to transport patients, medical staff, and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and navigate accurately using GPS and dispatcher instructions.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of the ambulance, including checking fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, coolant, tire pressure, and overall mechanical condition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ambulance documentation.
- Check and replenish first aid and medical supplies before every shift.
- Assist with loading and unloading patients using stretchers or wheelchairs.
- Provide first aid or oxygen if required during transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the ambulance and ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
- Comply with UAE traffic regulations and emergency vehicle operation guidelines.
- Maintain detailed trip logs, including time, mileage, and patient information.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, paramedics, and hospital staff.
- Maintain good personal hygiene and professional behavior with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 year of driving experience (ambulance or heavy vehicle experience preferred).
- Valid UAE driving license (Must be at least 2 years old).
- Ability to commute or relocate to Abu Dhabi – Western Region.
- Relocation support available for suitable candidates.
