Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admin & Purchaser with a strong background in the glass and aluminum industry. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate quotations, managing purchasing tasks, and following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send quotations for glass and aluminum works based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with the sales and technical teams to ensure pricing accuracy and material specifications.
- Source and purchase materials from approved suppliers at competitive prices.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier payments.
- Maintain and update supplier and product databases.
- Assist in administrative duties such as document control, invoice tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the glass and aluminum industry is a must.
- Strong knowledge of glass and aluminum materials, fittings, and market pricing.
- Proficient in preparing quotes and understanding technical drawings/specs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
