Full job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Clerk to support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and processing routine accounting transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy. Key responsibilities would but not limited to the below:
- Bookkeeping and general accounting
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Filing of documents
- Operating data terminals calculators and other standard office equipment
- Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail
- Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments
- Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations
- Assembling, sorting and tabulating codes and filing data
- Verifying claims and processing orders and deposit slips
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
