We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions (AR, AP, bank entries)
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Assist with VAT filings, audits, and compliance requirements
- Communicate clearly with management, auditors, and external parties in English
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal (mandatory)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting or Finance certification/diploma
- Experience with VAT and local regulatory requirements
- Experience working with international clients or management
