Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong exposure to the building materials, construction supply, or related trading industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Zoho Books, managing inventory-heavy accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Monitor and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payment planning
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in line with statutory requirements
• Support Corporate Tax compliance, calculations, and documentation
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closing
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant in building materials, construction supply, hardware, cement, steel, tiles, sanitary ware, or similar trading industries
• Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books
• Solid knowledge of inventory management and cost tracking
• Practical experience in UAE VAT filing and compliance
• Understanding of Corporate Tax regulations
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced trading environment
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE with valid work authorization
