Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our company. The candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support to the accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing daily accounting entries (purchase, sales, expenses, petty cash).
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Update and reconcile customer and supplier ledgers.
- Support in preparing payment vouchers and receiving vouchers.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry.
- Coordinate with other departments for collecting necessary documents.
- Help in preparing monthly reports as instructed by the senior accountant.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
- Freshers or candidates with 0–1 years of experience can apply.
- Able to join immediately (preferred).
