Full job description

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in local financial regulations and VAT, with a strong ability to manage day-to-day accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and filing requirements
• Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Monitor and report on company financial performance
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE (required)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
