Full job description

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet hotel standards.
  • Assign duties and inspect work of room attendants, public area attendants, and linen room staff.
  • Check guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and proper set-up.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and ensure prompt and professional service recovery.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities; coordinate replenishment with the Housekeeping Office.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Conduct daily briefings and coordinate with Front Office for room status updates.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain service standards and productivity.
  • Maintain housekeeping records such as room checklists, lost & found, and maintenance requests.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the department.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in planning deep cleaning schedules and special projects.
