Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Catering Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our catering operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, client relations, and team leadership, with proven experience in the Abu Dhabi market.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute catering services for corporate, private, and large-scale events
- Manage food preparation, presentation, and delivery to ensure high standards of quality and hygiene
- Supervise catering staff, including chefs, servers, and logistics personnel
- Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, tailored to client preferences and dietary requirements
- Monitor inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and company policies
- Handle client inquiries, quotations, and contracts professionally
- Maintain budgetary control and optimize cost-efficiency
- Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of catering management experience in Abu Dhabi
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Knowledge of UAE food safety and hygiene standards
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control
- Fluent in English; Arabic is desirable not mandatory.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings based on event requirements
- On-site and off-site event coordination
