Full job description

  • Guest Service: Greet and seat guests, present menus, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations for food and drinks.
  • Order Fulfillment: Communicate orders to the kitchen, serve food and beverages promptly, and ensure they are prepared correctly and presented well.
  • Table Management: Set and reset tables, maintain a clean and organized dining area, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Payment Processing: Deliver bills and accurately collect payments (cash or credit).
  • Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints and concerns, anticipate needs, and work to ensure a positive overall experience.
  • Menu Knowledge: Memorize menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer guest inquiries and make informed suggestions.

  • Customer Service: Excellent skills in providing a welcoming and attentive experience for diners.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and listening skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to notice important details, like food presentation or table setup.

  • Stamina & Pressure Handling: The ability to stand for long periods, work quickly under pressure, and carry trays.
  • POS Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order taking and payment processing.
