Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Accurately record stock transactions in the ERP (e.g., SAP).
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations with proper labeling and bin identification.
- Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counts and full inventory) and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and alert management on low, slow-moving, or obsolete items.
- Ensure proper issuance of raw materials and spare parts to production/maintenance teams as per requisitions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements (GRN, issue slips, transfer notes, scrap records, etc.).
- Implement and follow FIFO/FEFO methods to reduce stock expiry or obsolescence.
- Support in preparing reports on stock status, variances, and consumption trends.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance teams for smooth stock flow and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and order.
