JOB PURPOSE:

The Operations Controller in Discovery is responsible to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of aviation services to clients by processing daily tasks, monitoring flights and services, optimizing trip planning, and maintaining Jetex service standards. The role also involves communicating effectively with employees and management and collaborating with internal partners.Â

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily operation tasks according to applicable work procedures.Â
• Assist operators in trip planning and conduct feasibility checks.Â
• Help operators to optimize their flights for efficiency.Â
• Solve any issues with flights immediately to avoid possible delays.Â
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure services are confirmed and delivered correctly.Â
• Monitor services and flights on the timeline and ensure confirmations on time.Â

Requirements:

Qualification

• High School Level Education

Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in international flights planning

Skillset

• Knowledge of aviation regulations and industry best practicesÂ
• Proficiency in flight planning software and systemsÂ
• Familiarity with air traffic control procedures and communication protocolsÂ
• Understanding of weather patterns and their impact on flight operationsÂ
• Ability to read and interpret flight manuals, charts, and navigational aidsÂ
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and develop solutions
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholdersÂ
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Â
