Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery details, and invoices.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast future purchasing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and budget guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit regular purchasing reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Officer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
