Full job description

MADO Restaurant is looking for a passionate and talented Pastry Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of the pastry section, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, baked goods, and traditional Turkish sweets that MADO is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily preparation of pastries, desserts, and baked items.
  • Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation meet MADO’s standards.
  • Follow hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times.
  • Support senior pastry chefs in executing new recipes and seasonal menus.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a pastry role (preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting).
  • Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients.
  • Passion for dessert creation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
