Full job description

1. Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, spare parts, packaging materials, and consumables.
  • Issue materials to production based on authorized requisitions and job cards.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in ERP (Odoo/other system) and ensure timely updating of receipts and issues.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile with system records.

2. Storage & Organization

  • Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and identification of all stock items.
  • Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Ever, First-Out) methods for inventory management.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safety in the store area.

3. Documentation & ERP

  • Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips, and other store documents.
  • Update ERP with stock movements (inward/outward/returns/damages).
  • Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for invoices and stock valuation.

4. Coordination

  • Liaise with Production, Procurement, and Accounts for material requirements and availability.
  • Follow up on pending deliveries with suppliers in coordination with the Purchase department.
  • Support dispatch and logistics team for finished goods delivery.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to company SOPs, audit requirements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor shelf life/expiry of consumables and ensure disposal of obsolete/damaged stock as per policy.
  • Follow health, safety, and fire protection guidelines in warehouse operations.
