What you’ll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • You will take an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • You will be joining a dedicated beach team and will report directly to the Beach Club Management team.
  • Work under the direction of the beach management to ensure optimal operations of the restaurant, the beach and all other areas including bar, back of house areas and operational equipment.

  • Monitor the MTD and YTD revenue with the management and take initiatives to lead sales on the floor.
  • Hold a daily briefing with the team, ensuring they are kept fully up to date with what is happening in the outlet, residence and hotel.
  • Coach and train the team on the floor to achieve the highest standards of service for which Dorchester Collection is renowned for
  • During your daily routine, you liaise with other departments when required to ensure an immaculate presentation of your outlet and high standards of cleanliness as well as maintenance are upheld at all times including restaurant furniture, equipment, floors, fixtures and fittings.
  • Control quality levels of products and services, operation cost, sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene in an ongoing basis.
  • Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Restaurant General Manager and Engineering to follow up and ensure the necessary work has been carried out.
  • Maintain a relationship with all regular guests and giving them a special service when dining in the outlet
  • Maintain administrative records such as attendance records, duty rosters, vacation plans and hygiene inspection records, etc.
  • Comply with all statutory and company health and safety, fire, bomb, and security regulations.
  • In collaboration with your service team, you ensure fantastic quality of beverage preparation, presentation and beverage inventory control.
  • Ensure that the standards set by the Company’s Policy and Procedures regarding personal hygiene are maintained
  • Along with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required.
  • You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the operation needs
  • You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun, operating under pressure, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.

What you’ll bring

  • English is the primary language used in our beach club. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Other languages including Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish or German are highly desirable.
  • You will have a University Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in similar position and bring a wealth of past experience working for luxury hotels and restaurants in the Middle East.
