Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering packages containing ready-made meals to customers’ doors and completing data entry related to the delivery and collection of packages in our cooler bags. Operating a refrigerated van, you will plan efficient routes, ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and collect returned cooler bags as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver packages containing ready-made meals to customers’ locations.
• Collect and log returned cooler bags, ensuring they are accounted for and in good condition.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Operate and maintain the refrigerated delivery van in compliance with company and legal standards.
• Use a Proof of Delivery (POD) application to confirm deliveries, record collections, and log any issues.
• Complete required data entry accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records of deliveries and collections.
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations to ensure a safe and professional delivery experience.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers to address delivery issues or delays.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license for a manual light vehicle.
• Proven experience in a similar delivery role.
• Familiarity with proof of delivery (POD) applications and data entry processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• A professional attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to handle packages safely and perform physical tasks as required.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform routine checks.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience driving refrigerated vehicles or handling perishable goods.
• Basic knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns.
• Previous experience in food delivery or similar industries.

Work Environment:

This role involves driving for extended periods and handling cooler bags containing ready-made meals. The position may require working in varying weather conditions.
