Interior Designer

Summary of the role:

The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality interior designs and 3D Models using SketchUp for high end luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop 3D models of luxury spaces using SketchUp Software, while studying materiality, spatial quality, details, and overall design of projects from sketches and CAD files.
  • Confer with Design teams to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function.
  • Confer with the Design Head on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination.
  • Develop and improve the plan to be practical, esthetic, and conducive to the intended purposes, such as raising productivity.
  • Provide input and feedback on design concepts and ideas.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and client proposals.
  • Observe management’s instructions, especially in the areas of flexibility and teamwork, is essential.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources effectively.
  • Ensure all work is completed within project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends, materials and technology in the design industry to keep our projects at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on high-end Luxury projects.
  • GCC work Experience is a Plus.
