Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of joiners, carpenters, and related workers.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and materials before execution.
- Allocate tasks and monitor daily progress of joinery works.
- Inspect workmanship to ensure adherence to quality and design standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure requirements are met.
- Manage workshop production schedules and ensure timely delivery to site.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance in all joinery activities.
- Train and mentor junior staff and new workers.
- Manage tools, machinery, and materials efficiently.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Certificate in related field.
- Minimum of at least 2–4 years in a foreman role in joinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of joinery methods, tools, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
