Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering packages containing ready-made meals to customers’ doors and completing data entry related to the delivery and collection of packages in our cooler bags. Operating a refrigerated van, you will plan efficient routes, ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and collect returned cooler bags as necessary.

Role Overview:

The Production Assistant is an intermediate operational role responsible for performing accurate portioning with minimal supervision while supporting customer order packing and general production activities. Building on previous production experience, the role requires a strong understanding of meal components, portioning standards, and food safety practices.

Production Assistants are expected to use digital production systems, assist with inventory handling, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy. Working in temperature-controlled production areas, including chiller rooms, they play an important role in ensuring production efficiency and the accurate fulfilment of customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient portioning of meal components by following portioning cards, recipes, and production specifications with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge by correctly identifying meals, ingredients, components, and packaging requirements.
• Assist with packing customer meal orders by accurately following packing slips and verifying products before dispatch.
• Operate digital packing systems, handheld devices, and production software to confirm packed items and update production records where required.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to minimise portioning and packing errors.
• Assist with receiving, checking, storing, and replenishing ingredients, packaging materials, and production supplies.
• Maintain clean, organised, and hygienic workstations while complying with company food safety, quality, and health and safety procedures.
• Support Production Helpers by providing guidance and promoting efficient production practices when required.
• Report product discrepancies, equipment faults, inventory shortages, or food safety concerns promptly to the Shift Leader or Production Supervisor.
• Participate in cross-training across portioning, packing, and other production functions to enhance operational flexibility.
• Perform any other production-related duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in food production, food manufacturing, commercial kitchens, catering, or a similar food handling environment.
• Good understanding of portioning procedures, meal components, food handling, and quality standards.
• Ability to accurately identify products, ingredients, and packaging materials.
• Basic IT proficiency, including experience using tablets, handheld devices, packing software, or production applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit and able to work in temperature-controlled production areas and chiller rooms for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both food portioning and customer order packing.
• Dubai Municipality Basic Food Safety Training or equivalent certification.
• Experience using digital food production or warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety best practices.
