Job Description

We are seeking a professional and responsible Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Driver in our organization, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or documents to various destinations within the city and surrounding areas.

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport passengers, goods, or documents to specified destinations in a timely manner
• Plan and optimize routes using GPS and mapping applications to ensure efficient travel
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients
• Represent the company professionally and courteously in all interactions

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s road network and traffic patterns
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using GPS and mapping applications
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Defensive driving certification is preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
