Job Description:
Captain of the service team. Lead a section of the restaurant, personally handle VIP tables, mentor junior waiters, and uphold sequence-of-service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a section of 6–8 tables during peak service
- Personally serve VIP and high-spend tables
- Train and coach junior waiters on the job
- Conduct beverage and Moroccan tea ceremony presentations
- Pre-shift briefings under the Floor Manager
- Upsell signature dishes, pastries, and beverages
- Handle guest complaints at the table level
Requirements:
- 4+ years restaurant service, 1+ as Captain/Head Waiter/Senior Waiter in premium-casual or fine dining
- Strong knowledge of Moroccan cuisine; able to explain dishes in detail
- Familiarity with traditional Moroccan tea-pouring ritual
- Excellent presentation, posture, and grooming
- POS literate
- Arabic or French fluent; English working level
