Job Description:

Captain of the service team. Lead a section of the restaurant, personally handle VIP tables, mentor junior waiters, and uphold sequence-of-service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a section of 6–8 tables during peak service
  • Personally serve VIP and high-spend tables
  • Train and coach junior waiters on the job
  • Conduct beverage and Moroccan tea ceremony presentations
  • Pre-shift briefings under the Floor Manager
  • Upsell signature dishes, pastries, and beverages
  • Handle guest complaints at the table level

Requirements:

  • 4+ years restaurant service, 1+ as Captain/Head Waiter/Senior Waiter in premium-casual or fine dining
  • Strong knowledge of Moroccan cuisine; able to explain dishes in detail
  • Familiarity with traditional Moroccan tea-pouring ritual
  • Excellent presentation, posture, and grooming
  • POS literate
  • Arabic or French fluent; English working level
